Field Trip to Wildlife Prairie Park
On May 10, 2019 our class went on a field trip to Wildlife Prairie Park. Prior to the trip we did research on various plants and animals that we saw there. We read and wrote about some of the animals. This field trip was funded by a grant from IDNR. Thank you for helping us go.
We had a beautiful day and we were able to see most of the animals. We loved watching the otters swim and play, and seeing the baby bison. There were 5 babies that we could see this year. We also saw bears, gray wolves, the badger, foxes and coyotes. The farm animals were out as well. We also enjoyed the pioneer cabin and the one room schoolhouse. Who knew it was so much fun to sit on the dunce stool. Here are some of our pictures!
