The 7th graders have been studying birds. Their challenge was to create a bird beak that would move the most food in one minute. Some of them were very creative. 8th grades created Hatchlings as part of their genetics lab. For each trait they had to determine the phenotype and genotype and then creat a Hatchling that matched their description. 6th graders are testing rocks and minerals so they can identify them later. They tested color, hardness, luster, texture, density, and streak. 8th grade used a combination of traits to create baby monsters from monster parents. Here are some of their results. |
